II Intersectoral meeting: trade and services in the city of Slavutych

Within the framework of the project "SME activation in the cross-border regions of Ukraine-Belarus" under the Eastern Partnership (EaPTC) Program funded by the European Union, the Slavutych City Entrepreneurship Support Fund and the Slavutich Executive Committee, on April 24, A cinema-concert complex (bar "Manhattan") was organized and held II Intersectoral session: trade and services. The aim of the event was to establish a constructive and transparent dialogue between the business of Ukraine and Belarus. Business representatives from the following localities came to the meeting: Gomel, Rogachev, Zhlobin, (Republic of Belarus), Kiev, Pryluky, Chernigov, Varash, Repki, Mihailo-Kotsiubinskoye, Slavutich (Ukraine). A total of about 60 participants were registered. At the beginning of the meeting participants, the mayor - Yuri Fomichev and the assistant to the local coordinator Priluk - Sergey Butko congratulated. Speakers included: - Viktor Shevchenko, Project Manager, First Deputy Mayor "Development of External Economic Relations of the Kiev Region with the Republic of Belarus. - Irina Trusevich, local coordinator, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor, dean of the faculty of advanced training of the Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives - "Aspects of entrepreneurship development in the Republic of Belarus". - Andrey Tereshchenko, Deputy Head of the Department for External Economic Relations and Translation of the Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - "The Role of the Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as an Entrepreneurship Support Center". - Natalia Sheremeta, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of the Chernihiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry - "Ukraine-Belarus: cooperation in the win-win" format - Natalia Borodaenko, Chief Accountant of the Entrepreneurship Support Center of ODO Lyon (Republic of Belarus) - "Barriers to trade between Ukraine and Belarus. " In addition, business representatives had the opportunity to communicate with each other in B2B format negotiations. And had the opportunity to visit some Slavutich enterprises. Such meetings are grounds for communication among entrepreneurs, where everyone can find a partner or present their experience and the success of their own enterprise. Within the framework of this project, three more intersectoral meetings will be held, dedicated to the topics: agriculture, transport services, utilities and IT technologies.
